Futures say red indeed. What do they know. I have no idea.
Just listened to Paul Rickard and Peter Switzer talk about TLS on Nabtrade. Nothing really new. Earnings under pressure, Mrs Market not impressed, probably underperform, dividend probably safe for at least the next two years. They were careful to say what Mrs Market thinks of TLS, not what they thought of TLS, though the safe dividend part was their interpretation. After all that they would still include it in their portfolio. Interesting. Sounds a bit like the banks 12 months ago. Still confident in five years time everyone will be on mobile broadband and the nbn will be dead. I would bet cake on it but it's too far away.
When I get a chance I will go back through my phone bills and provide some figures on how the cost of mobile broadband is falling and then we can get more of an idea of where it's likely to be in five years time, because lets face it if it becomes really cheap, why would you bother with the nbn?
Let the games continue....
