Considering Degrey commenced their scoping study in 2017 and only released October 2021 I reckon 2 years actually isn’t too bad. Link to SS commencing is below for Degrey

They’ve now moved into PFS with completion expected in H2 of 2022.
Nova also detailed the reasons for pushing it out previously. Nova has a very different ore body to a typical Australian operation. They needed to find the end of the deposit and find the optimal place to build a starter pit. Link to that announcement was here. It’s a little difficult to decide where to put a mine when the ore body is over 3km in strike length.

Way I see it is if they get the SS wrong to appease impatient holders, it’ll mean the PFS will then be delayed the further they define the resource. They need to get this right especially if life of mine is 10+ years.
