An example of sample prep. Drying, crushing etc. I don't know about that process, but I'm guessing it removes a couple of steps that the lab has to do - saving time at the lab. But obviously the labs are backlogged or understaffed. Maybe from COVID lock-downs previously, making them understaffed previously, and back-logged now?
