By my calculation, using 68m and 325m and calculating the distance down the line, the VG falls upon the red dot that I drew.

There's no purple in that area. So it'll quite possibly become a new purple bit. So somewhat ruling out 'hitting VG within an already known high grade area, so not affecting the resource calculation'.

The rest of the hole has the potential to make more impact, to be able to create a new inferred area. Though I've set my expectations low, with the hole running between 2 holes that didn't hit too much.

It looks like the other fan will not intersect the VG, so we'll not have 2 holes hitting the same VG.

The fan will give us a lot of new data however.

The inferred reaches somewhat up into this area however. So while the Measured/Indicated is pretty safe, and might grow a bit eg. from the VG, the inferred has potential to go in either direction, depending on that large fan.

The view gives a good comparison of South vs Valley. South shows a lot of green, plus yellow near surface, orange being rare. Valley seems to have some small concentrations of orange, but deep and non-continuous, and lacking further drilling. If the orange could trend in some direction, it could be good. The company's assumption is that it trends vertically (as per Inferred resource blocks), and the Valley fan of drills will test that specifically.

Disappointing that the fan will not be testing to the right of this strong grade concentration, but that is the less viable area to be mining anyway (having to move more of a mountain to get at it). So they're testing the shallows, which is not necessarily locating the highest grade part of the Valley resource, but is focusing on the goal of 'early production'.

The tightness of the fan suggests: not being able to test the full inferred extent of Valley this season, but increasing the odds of reaching Indicated category for at least something in Valley, and in particular, in the area that is most viable for a pit to exist (testing whether the pit is confirmed as viable - drilling right in the center and shallows of the intended pit, down to the intended bottom).

This hole is a bit scary. Running parallel to the side of the pit design, and having hit nothing. Suggesting that the left edge of the pit might contain nothing. But if the middle/right has good grades, then some waste on the left could be ok.

There's a lot of room for these pit designs to change. It seems quite certain that they will. Just hopefully the big Valley pit will be confirmed as viable. South looks to be due for just minor changes.

From what I can see, South is 420Koz @ 0.4g/t.
    North's inferred and Valley total 480Koz @ 0.6g/t.
    So I estimate Valley is contributing 300Koz @ 0.4g/t.

So Valley is not a huge contributor to RPM yet, but it's still quite important, and could contribute more.
