For a producer, the gold price will have a major impact on profit and SP.
For a potential producer, 3-6 years out, the gold price would be secondary compared to various other factors - raisings, interest rates / discount rates / funding, exploration results, grants etc.
It's down on $1000 volume at end of day, by the way.
And GDX is down too, for whatever reason.
