Well, the US economy is doing well still. Look at recent numbers, they are still pointing at expansion. No hard or soft landing yet.

Powell would love to lower rates to make debt servicing "easier" and to help BOJ with their disastrous policies (obviously laast week's BOJ decison was coordinated with USA) and save the yen. But he can't yet and needs to wait and wait...

A crash could come but we don't NEED a crash for gold to fly at all. All we need is real rates to be negative, which is what we have now. DXY at peak levels and I think it topped at 105, if it goes higher the FED will intervene.

The whole explorer resource space is under pressure as financing is expensive and liquidity is low. That is why the Alaska potential loan and subsidies are key for NVA, and why a US listing is important: easier access to money markets AND access to subsidies only available to US companies.

The fact that NVA was mentioned by name in Alaska bill is huge and shows how intimate CG is with the Governer and the agency. They may not get it all but even getting a part of that pot would be hugely beneficial and lower the risk for any investment fund.
