It should retrace back to 1.3 to 1.4 cents over the coming weeks, there's a giant gap in the chart that needs to be filled.
Look at the MC here & compare it to the other battery recyclers on the ASX.
RIL (Has proven tech from NMT but yet to deploy it).
NMT (Developed & currently uses the tech in Germany with Mercedes-Benz).
LIT (Only Black Mass recycler & no tech to produce battery grade chemicals).
This ION tech, all though promising, hasn't been proven at an industrial scale yet. That's what the pilot plant is for.
All ION has so far is a great idea, it's a long road ahead.
