My kids think I'm old.....a ripe old 43.
I think I'm done accumulating. I've put all available resources in plus what I've made day trading. EXR is the largest investment I've ever made by 10 fold. And since I'm not selling until NY does, I'd best calm the farm otherwise we'll have nothing to live off for the next 3 years.
I see the kids on reddit are calling their savings YOLO money (You Only Live Once) and making big high risk/reward plays to change their financial trajectory. I guess I've done the same except I don't see a huge risk with EXR in the foreseeable future, just a huge reward. If EXR went to zero, it'd set me back a few years for sure but, if it does what we all believe it'll do, I get to live a unique and extraordinary life with my wife and young family.
To me it's like I've got a lotto ticket with an 80% chance of winning.
Ok, I'll stop telling you how many shares I have with the one exception. When she hits 42c and I join @Bushrageroo in the Elixirnaires Lounge
