The bots did push the price down on close. No matter how many buyers, there was always a seller with one extra share to ensure the price dropped on close. Needless to say the bots don't do all the selling, just the manipulative type. They're just part of the game - not much point complaining, even less point suggesting they don't exist - just something that needs to be understood.
