The calling of a trading halt is best practice whether it is a positive, negative or simply a stalled situation causing a delay in operation. This stops any ill informed and volatile trading brought about through fear, excitement or uncertainty affecting the share price.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this trading halt is lifted on Monday with the explanatory announcement or even possibly extended if more time is required to navigate this event that has occurred and wasn’t planned. As @Wonkers noted in an earlier post Neil has said that they have contingencies in place for any issue or change occurring to the original plan.

We have a very experienced board working with the world’s best team in Halliburton so I’m comfortable with them taking as long as necessary in respect to the design, timing and intended outcomes as every stage of development we are undertaking is providing unbelievable data and results to form the best case for success.

Nothing is straight forward but the end result through careful and thorough analysis and planning even if you change the original plans is what gives you the best chance of success!
