safer? not really. Neither have any real safety concerns for humans if done well. More reliable? Undoubtably. Better for the environment? in many ways yes compared to some renewable projects depending on location. cheaper? not a chance. Nuclear is not financially viable in Australia and will never happen. Built by 2035? Who is that stupid to believe that is even remotely possible in this country.
