i cannot find your original message regarding failure of Galilee Energy, but essentially there is NO comparison with EXR for the following reasons.
The Galilee Basin CSG venture was some time ago when gas prices were lower than now and therefore the economic NPV was not favourable. In addition, the Galilee Basin had lower gas content compared to the Taroom Trough and there was a lack of nearby production infrastructure in the Galilee Basin. So, in conclusion, currently EXR ticks several boxes, which Galilee could not in the past.
