Research research. Have you considered they may be looking to diversify into hydroxide ? Im sure even AGY have been considering it also.I believe there will always be a strong market for LCE, but more so for smaller handheld devices, ie; phones, electric tools and the like.
WA has atleast 3 new hydroxide plants going ahead within the next two years or less. All fully funded.
I believe the price may come back slightly and only those at the bottom of the cost curve will prevail long term. This is a positive for AGY as their "forecast estimates" also put them at the lower end of the cost curve. They just need to show some very high purity product at a consistent rate and volume. Then we will see a significant and stable rise in SP.
