Hi Tooler, your calcs seem about right. The resource approximation is based on 50tper hectare of ponds, that's the rough output per 12 months, this would equate to 400 hectares for 20kt. I suspect there is a bit of a contingency in there to allow for variables which affect production, such as weather etc.

Also to consider, the ponds can be filled more than once depending on evaporation rates etc - so potentially final quantities could be multiples of the calculated resource.
