They’ve already produced BG LCE – just haven’t told us yet.

The BMO Conference presentation states “Stage 2 larger scale pilot plant designed, development to commence in Q2 2018)”. [refer slide 11]

If the Stage 1 pilot plant was completed in DEC 2017, and they’ve completed the designs for the Stage 2 plant, that implies they’ve run numerous tests through the Stage 1 plant and confirmed its capability to produce BG LCE.

i.e. They’ve already produced battery grade lithium.

You don’t complete your designs for stage 2 until stage 1 tests confirm that the process works.
After the BMO Global Mining Conference in Florida (starts tomorrow Aussie time, Sunday Florida time), Pablo is staying in the states to talk to plant fabricators for building stage 2 plant equipment.

Stage 2 plant designs complete => Stage 1 plant tested to prove capability to produce BG LCE

I believe they’ve done it.
