They get a pass from me, since they are knocking years, if not decades, off my "working life"!!! The daily movement is not at all relevant to my time frame - although interesting!
Those of us that deal directly with resource projects as our jobs, know that delays are inevitable. Be harsh about a 10% extension if you like, but fixed costs are minimal and it's absolutely no big deal imo!
