When I was younger pouring my life into my job climbing the corporate ladder an old mentor said to me "never fall in love with a business it can't love you back it's not a person". As I got older it turns out that's probably the best advice any mentor ever gave me. At times you feel loved because of the people in it but ultimately it's very risky to be in a love triangle hoping people choose you over looking after themselves.
