Absolutely, I've made a few massive decisions based on rumors being spread around on HC and it's saved me thousands each time. Unfortunately for many others, they found out the hard way.. a good example of this was MUS. If you wait for an ann from the company and then you decide, your decision will be made for you along with others. Me personally if held would have sold on that rumor just like many did today.
I hope this Rumor stays that for you highly devoted holders
