    Hi Mick.

Yes, One gets the impression that if u arnt already of substantial size the Chinese will manipulate the corporate side of things as much as possible. Possibly the exceptions to the rule was FMG but then that was when the Chinese were really over a bit of a barrel for iron ore supply back in the boom days

Looking at a graphite/vanadium play that is possibly having such issues, no names mentioned, but they also have the added complication of having Chinese on the board with associated financial backing, with a promise of Chinese financial bank backing. They have also been now potentially tied up with a Chinese EPC deal.

If it all works well and good, but there is that terrible possibility that a cheap T/O might occur and that’s why AGY have been wise to back out of the QQ deal as it would have capped the potential of this company with a significant Chinese controlling stake.

Now one mustn’t get too Chinese centric here as I’ve seen it happen with very promising specs and large conglomerate miners that were Western globally controlled too so it’s not just a Chinese phenomenon. But one does need to be careful when making an investment judgement in this regard and that’s reliant on just how much pro activity there is with management and their testicular fortitude in going it alone. These guys seem to have it in spades.
