I had a really good look at them when they were around 1.4c and couldn't get the thought of oil mixing it with the brine out of my head. They are going in through old oil wells to save on drilling costs looking for the fabled 1700 ppm li. Maybe it's not an issue long term though.
What effect would a hydrocarbon have on Li or other chemicals in the brine though and at what cost of it's an ongoing issue ?
