Jane, I am pleased to read "I learnt my lesson, Wait for PEA"
You might want to share the story of what happened - I think it would be instructive.
Based on how the market has reacted to the announcements this year for AGY (a somewhat underwhelming response), it seems clear that until the larger investors can read a PEA, they don't put their money in.
PEA is an independent estimate of the future financial performance of a stock, based on verified information. It majorly de-risks investment.
Until the PEA is available, investment decisions are mostly based on company hype, and market sentiment - not what the professional investor is looking for.
It's the missing piece for AGY, and the most compelling reason the share price has sat way too low, for way too long.
Until large investors starting queuing-up to buy large parcels, AGY will remain the play thing of day traders and nervous retail.
It can't happen soon enough.
