By the time Rincon get their plant up and running they will have spent over $1B.
I would be very surprised if their process produces battery grade LCE without further processing. If it did we'd have heard all about it by now and some huge OT given the purported low costs.
The last we heard was last year when they were having quality issues and OT partners dropped them then last month an article saying they are building a 25K pa plant next year. So they've solved their quality issues and are going to go open market? Haven't even got approval yet and expect to have all this done next year? They need a license to pump chemicals into the Salar that may get into water tables? Sounds all to optimistic to me.
They may achieve it but next year seems unrealistic to me.
