It seems from some of the recent titbits gleaned from Mauritanian government sources (eg 120000 bpd from Chinguetti, oil production late 2005, design of giant gas field development by WPL) that we should be actively encouraging someone from the Mauritanan oil ministry to become an active contributor to HC. It would save on time trawling through obscure journals, make for interesting reading and would unlikely to be more misleading than some of the stuff we've been getting from the companies in which we own shares!
