I reckon I'll give myself an aneurism repeating this so many times but RNU is a graphite mining operation involving high volumes of toxic chemicals and dangerous waste. It's nowhere near an appropriate comparison. If you look at previously approved PEPRs for more straightforward operations, such as a couple of recent iron ore licences, approval time seems to run about 4-5 months.

Having said that, we also expected mining licence approval to take half as long as it did, so the past history is a suggestion rather than a promise. My guess is they would want to be dropping it very early in August to have a good chance of approval before Christmas.
