are they obliged to seek the independent advisory though?
I think it was liontown that last year rejected 3 prior offers without advising shareholders or the market. It only come to light after they finally received an offer they deemed worthy of putting to shareholders. Interestingly (well not according to asx or asic) directors were buying shares between the first unannounced offers and the later offers announced to shareholders. But that’s to totally above board, apparently.
