Three reasons.
1. When the Lambo Club opened for membership (long before FTO and cardioprotection) 100k was thought to be the number of shares required to buy a Lambo if all went well.
2. Most RAC shareholders are too young to want to own a Rolls Royce.
3. Holders naturally prefer to think about a SP up scenario rather than a 100k * 0 = 0 scenario.
