But basically the reason that Bisantrene is already a proven drug which was trialled and approved and the new version basically the same as the one before just it is improved so instead of central line - directly to the hearth - it can be administered via IV. But as far as the regulators concerned it is a new drug, so has to go through the same trials as the old one. Its safety and efficacy will not be effected which is already proven just the administration is much better. This is why it has a much higher chance than a new drug (3%).
