this is a little surprising to me - I had Sophia pegged as one of DCB’s hires that was ill suited to a ‘startup’ company like Race and would be more comfortable in big pharma corporate role.
Not sure what value she has delivered - have seen a little bit of social media fluff and I once got a direct email from her on a shareholder administration issue (which contained some surprising errors). The email coming from her was a bit weird - it was like she was being asked to be an errand girl (understand it might be all hands on deck at Race, but was still weird). I have never had the pleasure to talk with her in person, so these might sound like harsh observations, it’s not a crack, just impressions based on what I’ve seen. Let’s hope she does some good VP shit and it’s a sign of the good things coming.
