We updated the market well ahead of any deadline so I don't think it is a cop out. A presentation released via the ASX is just as binding as an announcement with words.
The whole clinical trial timeline is made up of a huge number of chained events that all have to be done in consecutive order. Some individual events will take longer than expected and some will take less. They tend to average out in practice. The biggest problem is certain steps are not within your control and you are at mercy of external people who simply don't care. The best we can do is keep everyone updated of any change as soon as we know.
Having said all this I am happy with how things are tracking and I am not someone who is happy with delays.
