While this makes sense and should have been obvious to many, including yours trully, I must admit (embarrassingly) that the way the story has been told so far, or rather, my interprettation of it, perhaps blinded by the high smoke and dust raised by HotCoppers, blinded and blunted the mind to a point where some (including I) were beginning to doubt the race fitness of or Team RACE!
Now I can full understand the fervent defence of Team RACE by the captain DT! The oft said statement, "I am so proud of the team", was beginning to sound odd!
It all makes perfect sense now! The wait is much more worthwhile than I thought!And its good to know that, while Team RACE have been waiting for things 'outside of our control' to move at the pace of 'thiings outside of our control', the cooking at RACE never stopped! I look forward to the surprises that the opportunity created by the unwelcome and uncmfortable wait, allowed the team to put together for us!
