Thanks to some posters, including Dr T, I have read "The Billion Dollar Molecule" and I am now reading "The Antidote" The Antidote describes the chase by a few groups for a drug treatment for Hep C and it seems to be that when one organisation has a solution there is a lot of cudos, at least in America, if you work in a BIO research area and can replicate the outcomes.
It seems logical to me that BPs will want to see how Bisantrene works with their oncology drug or other drug treatment that maybe cardio toxic. especially if there is a patent cliff.
There is allegedly lots of imminent news including the MOA, trial data and VO2 data. Its simply too hard to predict what will trigger a rerate and how big it maybe. e.g. we have seen in the past that news from Race took 3 weeks to change the SP.
