Just finished Dusklight Falling by
@PatchKolanOutside of seeing a couple short reviews (as well as
@Mason14 post a while back) and knowing a "dark fantasy epic" was about to begin, I went into this blind regarding the story which I'm grateful for. I probably would have dismissed it because "fantasy isn't my thing".
It hooks you quickly. About 15 pages in things kick off and I kept picking the book up whenever I had the chance. A solid story with enough buckets of undead blood and violence to keep an oaf like me entertained.
Being a bit late to the party on this I hope I don't have to wait too long for the next chapter. I'll pick up The Dirt Closet in the meantime.
If you're into fantasy (or not), buy it.
