We (DT and PS) are upset that we couldn't buy, not because of the reason we are in a blackout, but because of the reasons that have been released to the market. Both Pete and I believe that RAC is very undervalued. This is hardly news as there are few managers of ASX companies that don't think their company is undervalued by the market - especially at the small end.
I have said nothing about the blackout being positive, neutral, or negative, just pointed out what someone with at least half a brain might conclude from the desire of management to buy.
As for mentioning we are in a blackout we have been asked on multiple times by shareholders why we have not been buying on market if we believe RAC is undervalued. Do you want us to lie?
