"On thing that has come up in discussion with some shareholders is there appears to be an unrealistic expectation around when the first patient will be dosed. It takes around a month to get a patient from initial interest in the trial to their first dose as they have to go through a whole series of screening steps. Also around 50% of patients that express interest are found to not be eligible. It is not as simple as a patient saying they want to participate and the next day dosing."
