    You do not posture well as a tax agent .
    This is your friends excellent issue

    There is actually a taxation implications thread where posters have discussed tax & capital gains obligations or not (some holders are non- Australian residents)
    Generally - holding until Takeover.

    Shares are fairly tightly held .
    Whenever I have sold it has been difficult to buy equivalent shares back .

    Best is to want to be invested if owning RAC although there are always traders along the way . BOL .
