It is reasonable to assume any known programs and Rac initiated actions were not the cause of the blackout. If it was this is unusual that buying didn’t proceed the blackout and effectively closed their own trading window. Or Rac were caught out and like damn I want to buy now but can’t, massive missed opportunity given trial was also kicking off. Are they that dense?
Alternatively it must be an external catalyst, or unexpected result. But why haven’t we heard anything 12 months on? If a regional licensing deal any contracts would have a condition precedence to the contract, most likely subject to safety in human for RC220 in combo. This is why radio silence could continue until P1A completion as a potential release date, or, Cohort 1 or first combo dosing but IMO unlikely.
A regional license may be initially in a small jurisdiction in Asia for Dox+Bis. Why else would we need not just 1 but 2 Asian sites. If it was solely for diversity of patients a single site might have been sufficient for P1. The counter argument is the trial sites were already set before the blackout was this the case?
It may be a significant unexpected result, MOPACS or targeted therapy MOA or something else who knows. Whatever it is will be worth the wait. New patents still pending and no scientific publications. Expecting a quick success of announcements in H2, Enjoy!
