I am currently reading the book “The billion dollar molecule” based on suggestions from Dr.T, @Teeth and a few others here. Here are a couple of snippets that are interesting.

Amgen’s drug helped doctors increase dosage of SOC to cure a disease much like Bis + Dox. See the potential sales figures, and remember this was in 1991.



Note how Genentech’s failed drug Sales dragged the sector 39% down again showing resemblance to how small cap biotech companies are down after Opthea’s debacle. Also those the commentary that biotechs as a group globally move in lock step - seems to be the case even after 35 years.
