The problem with the NPP (apart from the difficulty of getting it to work given all the experimental drugs out there) is that it sets the price of Bisantrene. Let's say we sold Bisantrene in Europe or Israel for $30K under the NPP then that would become the reference price the US insurers would use to set the price in the USA. You can’t go to them as say we think you should pay $450K because that is what other new drugs for AML sell for because they will just say you were selling it for $30K and that is all we will pay. It is quite fortunately that our previous CMO failed to sell Bisantrene under the NPP to anyone or else we would have destroyed 90% of value of the RAC.
