Thank goodness commonsense and a petition prevailed! Newcastle was geographically too close to Sydney. It was too much of a temptation for some Sydney based footy supporters to risk getting caught taking the short trip. Personally, I would prefer it was delayed until NSW gets Covid under control. Surely a State border should be enough of a deterrent? Can't wait to get my 2nd vaccine! 9th of August (my appt) can't come quick enough!
