I think the issue is most talk about minimum balance before going into an SMSF, of which i understand there is no minimum, the Fee's just eat it up if your not very active or being conservative. If you have RAC in your SMSF im pretty sure it will out pace the $2-$3k fee's per annum.

We have sub $100k in our supers combined but am seriously considering this option.
