I doubt we could have sustained the sort of volume we saw on that Monday for very long. All the fast money that came in would have gone straight out again as soon as the SP fell back under the tidal wave of selling. We could very well have ended up under $3.
The good news is that day is not reflected in the current SP. The SP today is still below the price it was before anyone outside of the company knew about the cardio-protective discovery and on top of this the clinical program to prove out this discovery is now fully funded! People might conclude the market is missing something.
