Thought I would share this link as it would make quite a handy resource for investors looking to develop their understanding of basic and advanced biology. Bio-Ninja was recently brought to my attention by a friend who had studied biology at uni and said it was his saving grace for being able to understand the basics of topics he was studying and to refresh his learning for assessments and exams.

If you’re like me and often catch yourself reading a post from wombat or mason and run into a couple of words that you’re not familiar with, you quickly start feeling like you’re trying to decipher the Da Vinci code which turns into looking through the responses hoping to find a post which further summarises so you can finally absorb and appreciate the sweet nectar that they've provided us.

With Bio-Ninja you can search keywords and names in biology. For instance, I came across some posts that were mentioning ‘eukaryotic cells’ which I had no understanding of and were the focal point of the discussion. After a search in the Bio-Ninja search engine, it gave me links to all the pages within Bio-Ninja's content where ‘eukaryotic cells’ were mentioned. Another handy feature is that you can reference back to other content within the topic and other topics that relate to the given module.

The search engine only shows results if it is within the content of the website which unfortunately doesn’t include info on the FTO protein and the M6a RNA methylation pathway.

Not sure if this link has been provided before but I'll chuck it in just in case. This article gives a good overview of the M6A RNA methylation pathway and has some good graphical figures to go with it.
