Zantrene kills cancer but also has + synergy + resistance, why is this?
So far Zantrene is compatible with about x10 other very broad classes of treatment and now radio therapy.
I can only put it down to Zantrene as an FTO inhibitor adds in cancer killing. But the synergy and resistance must be the result of something else. I hypothesise that it is because the actual treatments themselves drive FTO and cancer progression (directly or via a downstream pathway).
Put simply, FTO drives 15% of cancer + treatment drives FTO which drives X??? Of cancer - Zantrene kills cancer - Zantrene - Zantrene kills more cancer resulting from treatment = BIG OPPORTUNITY!
Hope this concept makes sense. I was always intrigued as to whether it is possible to artificially increase FTO to then kill the cancer more effectively. I then found out that Decitabine actually did! Perhaps it’s not a fluke that this has been selected for EMD AML trial and most likely path to approval.
Even synergy with a PD-1 occurs, why is this if immunity therapy works by simplify allowing the immune system to target cancer, there must be something else at play.
If the above is correct, TAM is 15% of cancers + Drugs that up regulate FTO!
