Random thought. Share buyback (or ‘lack of’ theory) - it’s obvious to me, and I assume many others that sentiment around RAC (especially for the pump and dump investors of 2020/21) has decreased substantially. A quick read of many other stock forum sites shows investors feel that RAC are simply kicking the perverbal rock down the road, with many expecting results sooner, thus propelling the SP higher and quenching their lust for gains! So, my theory- could the RAC board suspect this sentiment and purposefully not utilise the buyback knowing it might full well open a flood gate for disgruntled shareholders wishing to break even and escape and try their hand elsewhere?
