I just see too many people project their own timelines on a company.
a sure fire recipe for disappointment.

My comment was more about trusting your decision to invest in RAC.
...and having patience because building a business is difficult.
...and building a market for a new product is even more difficult, especially when there are multiple markets upon which to spread one's time.

I am currently reading the book The Warren Buffet Way.
It has some interesting insights.
Beyond all the regularly posted quotes of "Holding forever" and "having patience" are some real messages.

Namely, if you believe in the Opportunity, Management and the Company then don't sweat the market fluctuations nor the market itself.
There is a focus on buying at a discount to reduce risk.
There are basically 12 Tenets that Buffet uses when selecting a stock to purchase.
The focus is on lower risk trading companies with profits and expenses and depreciation.
However, despite not trading, RAC does tick a few of these Tenets.
