There is no need for a new trial, hair loss data can be collected in the breast cancer trial.

But frankly it's a bit like saying, pioglitazone (used for diabetes) causes/worsens heart failure, but in separate trials this new drug linagliptin doesn't cause heart failure, so therefore linagliptin probably stops pioglitazone from causing heart failure too.

it's a mildly preposterous long shot and even if they weren't able to collect data on it in their current trials, RACE shouldn't be spending money on such a trial.
