The vast majority of people that invested in RAC and other shares in a portfolio did so because they believe that the company has great potential and the future looks good. In reality very few make it to the big time or get taken over. If you decided to invest because of uprampers on a forum then you must be holding an awful lot of companies and you only have yourself to blame if it goes belly up
