I think your answer is points 2 and 3. They will recruit 9 patients minimum for stage 2. It's only if none of them respond that the study will be terminated. So we cannot draw any conclusions from the fact that they have so far recruited at least 3 patients for stage 2.
However, given that we had a 50% response rate in stage 1 (as well as 40% RR in Sheba 1), and the fact there was a recent publicity release from Sheba regarding this trial (touting FTO inhibition as the MoA - though Dr T said at the time not to read anything into that), I think we should be confident that the trial is proceeding well.
