A few of books I have read in the last couple of years;

The Warren Buffet Way
Warren would not invest in these spec type stocks but the book will teach you many wise things about life and investing. e.g. Warren is quoted as saying he would be happy for the market to only open 1 day a year. In other words, don't watch the SP fluctuations. You are better off watching the FA metrics of the business on a daily basis.

You may laugh but he started in the 1950s and developed a system
I found this interesting but it's not the way I invest. It is more of a trading system

Some good insights and only take 15 minutes a week

All of the above books discuss success and all have on thing in common, a system they follow.
Different systems will appeal to different people.
For me, I like the Focussed Investing strategy described in The Warren Buffet Way.
Why? Because all the investors interviewed in the book became extremely wealthy.
...and it gives you 12 tenets on how to measure a company.

This is a fascinating read about the race to cure cancer and helps you understand the oncology space and how business and govt. stuffed up real solutions like CBD etc for 40 plus years. It just shows how difficult and fraught with red tape the whole space is as well as how difficult it is to find a medical cure.

Every Moment Matters - John O'Sullivan
This is a book about coaching and motivating sports teams or any team really.
Gives you some great tools and narratives to use.
Some things items really quite useful in any sporting, work or family situation.
Again it is a book about a systems of coaching people.
The focus is on the team process and being highly motivated and professional.
The outcome, i.e. winning games, becomes the output of a great team.
Lets hope Race's current great team continue to focus on the professional processes so the right results follow.
