In fairness to JC, this is from the last time I spoke to him on this topic. He may have changed his mind since then. If you want his current opinion you should write to him directly.

I strongly believe that it would be very shortsighted to try and sell Race before the true value of bisantrene has been demonstrated in the clinic. This will take time, money, and an innovative strategy, but the potential payoff is so large that I think that it is worth the effort. Trying to rush this process will destroy most of the upside.

Ultimately it comes down to what do you want from your investment in Race. Do you want a 90% chance of a 30% return from your investment, or do you want 30% chance of a 10,000% return? I know which one I want.
